Sweet Italian Basil
Ocimum basilicum. Specially selected strain from the mountains of northern Italy produces larger, tender leaves. Deep, rich basil flavor. Silky, dark-green leaves that should be pinched back to provide longer harvest pleasure from the same plant. 12-18 " tall. Organically grown.
Basil loves the heat of summer but is highly sensitive to frost.
