The Mohave, or Pipa Aha Macav (People by the River), have lived and farmed near the Colorado River for centuries.  The Fort Mohave Reservation is near Needles CA, where Arizona, California, and Nevada meet.  4 seed accessions in the NS/S collection come from the Mohave.
